Rob Vincent (born November 12, 1977) is a
self-styled nerd, hacker, and comedian from Long
Island, New York.

Vincent has been a fixture on the Internet for
years, spreading a unique flair for turning any
discussion into something fun and interesting.

Rob (short for Robert) is usually seen using the
screenname Rob T Firefly (there is no period after
the "T",) which is often abbreviated as RTF.  This
evolved from his old nickname, Rufus T. Firefly,
taken from a Groucho Marx character.  He has also
used the name Roberto Luciernaga (Spanish
translation of Robert Firefly,) and created
mashups under the name DJ Luciernaga.

His actvities in hacker culture include projects
for the Phone Losers of America (for which he
emceed a panel at The Fifth H.O.P.E.,) writing and
editing in the Phone Losers of America spinoff
zine United Phone Losers, and regular attendance
of the New York City
2600:_The_Hacker_Quarterly|2600 meetings.

Vincent is an open Neopagan, and a member of a
coven.  He reads tarot cards.

Vincent maintains a standard blog, and journals
his dreams in a livejournal.

He writes a semi-autobiographical humor zine known
as WTH, an abbreviation of its URL, "What The Hell
are you waitin' fo'."
