Robert Schneider (born October 31, 1963 in San
Francisco, California) is a writer, actor, and
comedian.

He was a Saturday Night Live History of
SNL:1990-1995|cast member from 1989-1994, and
usually appears in films starring fellow alum Adam
Sandler. The characters Schneider normally plays
in Sandler's films are either a cajun man who
utters, "You can do it!", or as a Middle Eastern
delivery boy.  He also appeared in the TV series
Coach (TV series)|Coach.

== Personal life ==
Schneider is of mixed heritage. His father,
Marvin, was a Germany|German/Jewish real estate
broker; his mother, Pilar, a former kindergarten
teacher, is the daughter of an American soldier
and a Filipino|Filipina. Pilar plays a
cheerleading contest judge in Rob's The Hot Chick.
